Adapting a medical imaging reconstruction iterative algorithm to run using Graphics Processing Units (CUDA w/ NVIDIA). This algorithm will be used to obtain clinical and small animal images using a Positron Emission Tomography prototype system located at the University of Coimbra. The student will participate in the experiments and data treatment and report to the Positron Emission Mammography project manager for image reconstruction.		Within:	May 01, 2012 - July 31, 2012
